1 - The art style that you chose works wonderfully for the atmosphere and overall vibe of mlp. The slight imperfections in the outlines and a nice touch of character, nicely accompanied by the overflow of the fill.
2 - I really like the emplacement shown between the two. The way they are hugging one another is shown as a type of understanding, which shows great emotion. The eyes being closed adds a cool aspect alongside Rarity's crying.
3 - There isnt anything major wrong with this, but a touch of blue for Rarity's cutie mark would ad a bit more depth.
Closing Comments - You have a very interesting style which shows very powerful emotions. I look forward viewing more works of this caliber.
The watercolor adds a depth to it that I personally think vectoring cannot. The smudging was a bit of an off-put for me, but it looks so much better than all the neat, bland coloring you find in vectors.
The emotion that you portrayed in this is fantastic, and almost all the elements were placed well. The only problem I had was the far wing, which looks like it is residing on top of her leg from the angle you used.
Coloring was amazing. The colors, instead of being stopped short by one another, in this case simply flowed into each other, creating an amazing visual effect.
I did find RD's mane got a little bit messy and rushed at the end, though, just a minor nitpick. Rarity's head dimensions were a bit off too, her head is rather bulbous.
All in all, I enjoyed this a lot. 8/10, because I want to see you do better.
